Second test from GigaNews - crossposted

Posted something in giganews.general and another GigaNews user claims that
microsoft.public.win98.general.discussion is up to date on his machine.
Then I posted a test message to that group and it didn't show up. Now I'm
crossposting another test post. Something is rotten in Denmark.

I found the problem. I was always subscribed to
microsoft.public.win98.general.discussion, NOT
microsoft.public.win98.gen_discussion
I do have aloe.org and teranews and notice that they're both up to date but
lack the retention that giganews has.
Anyway microsoft.public.win98.gen_discussion is working fine on GigaNews. I
was just using "general." instead of "gen_" !
